The brief descriptions below are designed to familiarize you with our staff's training, professional credentials and work experience.
Isidore Steiner, D.P.M., J.D., M.B.A. *
Dr. Steiner is from Brooklyn, New York. He attended Brooklyn College and received his bachelors degree in 1974. He then attended the Pennsylvania College of Podiatric Medicine and received his medical degree in 1978. He completed a surgical residency at Straith Memorial Hospital in Southfield, Michigan in 1979.
Dr. Steiner has previously been the Director of Podiatric Medical Education at Redford Community Hospital and is presently a member of the Residency Training Committee at Botsford General Hospital. He has professional memberships with the Michigan Podiatric Medical Association, American Podiatric Medical Association, American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and the American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery. He is on active staff at St. Joseph Mercy Livingston (previously McPherson), St. Joseph Mercy Woodland, Huron Valley, St. Joseph Mercy Ann Arbor, DMC Sinai Grace Hospital and Botsford General. He is board certified in foot and ankle surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. He is also certified by the American Board of Quality Assurance.
Lawrence Richard, D.P.M. *
Dr. Richard is from Warren, Michigan. He attended Oakland University and received his bachelors degree in 1978. He then attended the Pennsylvania College of Podiatric Medicine and received his medical degree in 1983, Dr. Richard completed his surgical residency at Detroit Central Hospital in Detroit, Michigan in 1984.
Dr. Richard has professional memberships with the Michigan Podiatric Medical Association, American Podiatric Medical Association and the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. Dr. Richard is on active staff at St. Joseph Mercy Livingston (previously McPherson), St. Joseph Mercy Woodland, Botsford General, Oakwood Annapolis and DMC Sinai Grace Hospital. Dr. Richard is Board Certified in foot and ankle surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. He has a special interest in caring for seniors. He treats many of our patients in their homes and also services many of the area foster care homes, nursing homes and assisted living.
John Stevelinck DPM +
Dr. Stevelinck is a native of St. Clair Shores, Michigan and has practiced there for seven years. He attended the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine, graduated in the top 10% of his class in 1998. He was elected to Pi Delta National Honor Society. He then completed a two-year podiatric surgical residency at Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Oakland, California.
Dr. Stevelinck has professional memberships with the Michigan Podiatric Medical Association and the American Podiatric Medical Association. He is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, Board Certified in Foot Surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery, a Fellow of the American Professional Wound Care Association, and is also Board Certified in Wound Care by The Council for Medical Education and Testing. Dr. Stevelinck also participates in the training of podiatric residents of Botsford Hospital and the Family Practice Residents of St. Joseph Mercy Livingston Hospital.
Dr. Stevelinck is on active staff at St. Joseph Livingston & Brighton. His special interests include reconstructive forefoot surgery, diabetic wound care, and limb salvage. He enjoys lecturing on foot/ankle conditions. He is the Director of the Livingston Foot & Ankle Wound Care in Brighton.
